KAWASAKI PROUDLY INTRODUCES TWO ADDITIONAL MODELS TO ITS LEARNER APPROVED FLEET
Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 5:53PM

When the all new Ninja 250R was released in 2008, Kawasaki proved that it knew exactly what learner riders want and require in a motorcycle, with the model quickly finding a home at the top of the highest selling list in Australia- a title the model still holds to this day. Kawasaki is now excited to release two additional models to its exciting learner approved fleet. Available in either Lime Green or Candy Plasma Blue, the Ninja 650RL is a motorcycle that boasts a smooth and rider-friendly 649cc engine complemented by sensational Ninja Supersport styling. Equally impressive but totally different looking, the ER-6nL, offers learner riders the opportunity to enjoy an extremely user-friendly 649cc parallel-twin engine enclosed inside a stylish and flowing naked bike body. The ER-6nL is available now in Candy Plasma Blue or Candy Stardust White.
Both the Ninja 650RL and ER-6nL offer learner riders everything they need when starting on their motorcycling journey. The 649cc twin cylinder DOHC engine used in both motorcycles is tuned to provide a smooth delivery of torque which is ideally suited for less experienced riders and is also the most compact in its category. This helps reduce the dimensions of the entire motorcycle, keeping it small, nimble and rider-friendly.
The engine characteristics may be similar in the two new motorcycles however the same cannot be said about their appearances. The ER-6nL's avant-garde styling makes it the most stunning looking middleweight on the market – bar none. It’s sculpted, flowing lines blend perfectly with the rider's body and the vertical headlamps, stacked instrument cluster and 6-spoke wheels give it attitude aplenty.
As for the Ninja 650RL, it’s sensational Supersport styling demands immediate attention. The front cowling with dual headlamps design may look familiar as it is just like the Ninja ZX-6R and the Ninja ZX-10R Supersports models. The windshield is also at a sharp angle to contribute to the Supersport image and the cowling features integrated front turn signals contributing to the sensational looks and styling.
In addition to the new Ninja 650RL and ER-6nL, the Kawasaki Learner approved range also consists of the Ninja 250R, KLR650 and the KLX250S. For more information, visit www.kawasaki.com.au or see them all at your nearest Kawasaki Dealership today.
(Please note that Learner approved status can vary state by state. For further information please check with your licensing authority or nearest Kawasaki Dealership.)
