Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Chad Reed Clean Sweeps NZ SuperX

Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Chad Reed is one step closer to winning his maiden Championship with his new team after winning the 6th round of the Monster Energy SuperX Championship in Hamilton, New Zealand on Saturday 21 November. Chad made it a clean sweep in NZ, winning 4 from 4 motos and taking the maximum amount of Championship points possible. Chad’s perfect points haul propels him back into the series lead with only one round of racing left.

Chad was in a league of his own on board the Kawasaki KX450F at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton. Following up on his flawless round win last weekend in Sydney, Chad came out firing in NZ, grabbing two out of four possible holeshots in the four race quad challenge as he raced towards victory.

Chad’s 1-1-1-1 result in NZ sees the series leading red plate returned to his KX450F as he heads into the final round. Chad’s unrivalled form of late shows his dedicated effort to wrapping up his maiden series with Monster Energy Kawasaki on top, before heading to the USA to compete in the AMA SX in early January.

If Chad can clinch the series victory, the win will mark 3 Australian Open Supercross victories for Kawasaki over the past four years. Chad Reed will be riding for the 2009 Monster Energy SuperX crown at Brisbane, QLD on Saturday 5 December.
