2010 ASBK calendar released

With the final round of the 2009 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) now run and won, Motorcycling Australia (MA) and International Entertainment Group (IEG) are pleased to announce the 2010 ASBK Calendar.

Information on each round is as follows:

Round 1	Phillip Island (WSBK), VIC (this round is provisional and subject to final negotiations)	26-28 February	Superbike/Superstock A, B, C, and D (Superbike and Superstock 1000 will run together with points awarded separately to the three classes racing collectively – Superbike, Superstock A, Superstock B, C and D. Preference will be given to Series entrants first.) Supersport 600 Superstock 600
Round 2	Symmons Plains, TAS	12-14 March	Superbike/Superstock A Supersport Superstock 1000 B, C, D Superstock 600 125/250 GP Mono Sidecars
Round 3	Queensland Raceway, QLD	16-18 April	Superbike/Superstock A (Superstock 1000 A will be point scored separately) Supersport Superstock 1000 B, C, D Superstock 600 125/250 GP Mono Juniors (all classes)
Round 4	Queensland Raceway, QLD (V8 Supercars)	1-2 May	Superbike/Superstock A (Superstock 1000 A will be point scored separately) Supersport
Round 5	Northern Territory (V8 Supercars)	18-20 June	Superbike/Superstock A (Superstock 1000 A will be point scored separately) Travel allowance will be provided to all competitors.  The endeavour is to make this round no more expensive than your furthest eastern seaboard round.
Round 6	Broadford, VIC	16-18 July	Superstock 1000 B, C and D Superstock 600 125/250 GP Mono Juniors Sidecars
Round 7	Queensland Raceway, QLD (this round is provisional and subject to final negotiations)	20-22 August	Superbike/Superstock A (Superstock 1000 A will be point scored separately) Superstock B, C and D Supersport Superstock 600 125/250 GP Mono Juniors
Round 8	Phillip Island, VIC (V8 Supercars)	10-12 September	Superbike/Superstock A, B, C and S (Superbike and Superstock will race together with points awarded separately to the three classes racing collectively – Superbike, Superstock A, B, C, and D.
Round 9	Symmons Plains, TAS (V8 Supercars)	6-7 November	Superbike/Superstock A (Superstock 1000 A will be point scored separately) Supersport
