Goerke beats Chad Reed for first AMA Pro Motocross win

"This is the best day of my life," said Goerke, who was making just his third Lucas Oil AMA Motocross start this year. "I crashed in the first moto and thought my day was over."

Michael Byrne took second overall in the 450cc class on the strength of two third-place finishes. Reed, who won the day's opening moto, was 31st in the second race.
