Kawasaki to Host Chris Vermeulen, Todd Kelly at 2010 Australian Motorcycle Expo Melbourne

The Kawasaki stand at the 2010 Australian Motorcycle Expo Melbourne will play host to some of the biggest names in motor sports next  weekend. Kawasaki World Superbike rider and Queensland native Chris Vermeulen will help unveil the all new 2011 Ninja ZX-10R ABS on Friday 26 November and former Bathurst Champ and Kawasaki sponsored V8 Supercar driver Todd Kelly will be in attendance on Sunday 28 November.

MotoGP winner and multiple World Superbike and World Supersport winner Chris Vermeulen has just returned to Australia to spend 2 months at home on the Sunshine Coast and further rehabilitate his reconstructed knee. Vermeulen will take time out from his summer break to attend the Australian Motorcycle Expo and help Kawasaki pull the covers off the bike that will be the platform for his 2011 World Superbike campaign, the all new 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS.

Vermeulen says, “I can’t wait to meet with fans at the Australian Motorcycle Expo and help Kawasaki unveil their new models. I’m looking forward to testing at Sepang (Malaysia) early in January, where I can’t wait to try out the new ZX-10R for the first time.”

Former Bathurst Champion and multiple race winning V8 Supercar driver Todd Kelly looks forward to meeting with fans at the Kawasaki stand on Sunday 28 November. The Kawasaki sponsored race car driver, who drives for the Jack Daniels Racing Team with brother Rick Kelly, will have his own modified KLX450R Race/ Enduro bike on display as well.
