MAXWELL QUALIFIES IN POLE POSITION AT PHILLIP ISLAND

Demolition Plus G.A.S. Honda’s Wayne Maxwell has qualified in pole position for the Australian Superbike support class races with a time of 1:34.1 at the end of today's proceedings at Phillip Island.

Maxwell finished in the top spot in front of Suzuki's Josh Waters and Ducati's Jamie Stauffer, all of whom who will front for two championship point races tomorrow.

"We couldn't have asked for a better result in front on an international World Superbike crowd," said Team Manager Geoff Winzer.
