Triumph has started off the year strongly with top 10 finishes in several categories.

The recently released Thunderbird has flown into the 'Road Bikes' category in a very commendable 6th place overall and 4th place in the 'Cruiser' category. 'We were always confident that the Thunderbird was going to raise some feathers in the 'Cruiser category' stated Triumphs Marketing Manager Mal Jarrett, but to have taken out 6th spot overall in the total 'Road Bike' category is a great result".

The Sprint ST came in at 2nd place in the 'Sports Touring' category, another great result for the Sprint, and the Tiger an equal 4th in the 'Adventure Touring' category.

Triumph continued to absolutely dominate the 'Naked Bike' category, with the Street Triple in 3rd place, the Thruxton in 5th place, the Bonneville T100 in 8th and the Speed Triple in 10th.

Asked what these results could be attributed too, Jarrett commented "we have great bikes, accessories and clothing, backed by a professional dealer network".
