Aussie Team announced for 2010 World Junior MX Championship

Motorcycling Australia

Motorcycling Australia (MA) would like to announce that the following riders have been selected to represent Australia at the 2010 Junior Motocross World Championship:

125cc Class

Matthew Phillips

TAS

Errol Willis

NSW

(Res) Dylan Long

VIC

85cc Class

Joel Dinsdale

QLD

Scott Mann

QLD

(Res) Jesse Dobson

QLD

65cc Class

Mitchell Evans

QLD

Wilson Todd

QLD

(Res) Hunter Lawrence

QLD

The event will be held at Gueugnon, France, from 20-21 August, with Paul Broomfield lining up as Team Manager.

Given the costs involved in sending the team to Europe, MA has only been able to select two riders in each class and is hopeful they will get the most out of competing on the World stage when they pull on the Green and Gold in August.

Making their debut at the 2009 Junior Motocross World Championship in New Zealand, the Australian Team exceeded expectations, taking out the Teams Title along with scoring Australia’s first ever World Motocross Championship thanks to the efforts of Jay Wilson.
