Another successful race meeting for team 'Cycle Torque/Hunter Valley Paintball' on the Triumph Daytona 675. Young Alex Pickett took three podiums, including a win, on Saturday's FX Nationals, clawing back 12 points out of the leader; Angus Reekie (KTM). Alex now sits in second place in the FX Nationals, 3 points behind Reekie with 2 rounds to go.
On Sunday Alex took three wins and a second place, increasing his lead in the Australian Formula Extreme Pro Twins F3 Championship. Alex now has a nine point buffer over Gary Peake, also 675 mounted. There are two rounds remaining.
"All we have to do to the Triumph is check tyre pressures and add fuel. We haven't touched the suspension since the very first track day we did last year. In fact except for a lighter rear spring, the suspension is stock.
The bike has been very reliable, and fast", said 16-year-old Alex.
