Kawasaki congratulates Team Moto Kawasaki in Bowen Hills, QLD for being Australia's Ichiban (#1) Kawasaki Motorcycle dealership in 2010.

Presented by Kawasaki, the Ichiban Award is the highest and most prestigious accolade achievable by a Kawasaki dealership in Australia. Team Moto Kawasaki Bowen Hills edged out all other hopefuls to take top honours in the Motorcycle category.

Team Moto Kawasaki Bowen Hills Dealership Principal, Shane Goldberg was extremely pleased to receive the award, saying, “Receiving the Ichiban Award is a great pay off for all the hard work put in by everybody at Team Moto Kawasaki Bowen Hills throughout 2010. In other categories, T & T Motorcycles in QLD were Ichiban winners in the ATV category while J V Marine in Victoria took top honours in the Jet Ski category. GBC Motors in Victoria showed their strength in the MULE category by taking top honours for the second year in a row.

Dealers were also acknowledged on a Best State level with Evolution Motorcycles winning in Victoria, Holeshot Kawasaki winning in SA/NT, Kawasaki Newcastle winning in NSW/ACT, Kim Britton Kawasaki winning in WA and Mackay Kawasaki winning in QLD.

Team Moto Kawasaki Moorooka in QLD were awarded Best New Dealer (as well as 5th overall in the National Ichiban Motorcycle category) and Canberra Motorcycles in the ACT rounded out the list of winning dealerships for Top Growth in Spare Parts on a National level.

Updated details for Yamaha AORC Rounds 11 and 12

Motorcycling Australia (MA) would like to announce that Rounds 11 and 12 of the 2010 Yamaha Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) will be held at Cherrabah Resort, near Warwick, QLD on 4-5 September 2010.

The venue change has arisen due to the cancellation of AORC Rounds 3 and 4 at Conondale, QLD, and the Round 11 and 12 events will be staged as two Sprint rounds as originally scheduled for Conondale.

The Supplementary Regulations and Entry Forms for the 2010 AORC have also been updated to reflect the change, and can be found on the MA website at www.ma.org.au/enduro.
