Local stars steal show at 2012 Aust Under 16 Speedway Sidecar Championship

Denny Cox and Tom Pearce all smiles after winning.

Hunter Valley young guns Tom Pearce and Denny Cox stole the show to claim the 2012 Australian Under 16 Speedway Sidecar Championship at Loxford Park, Kurri Kurri on Sunday.

In a battle of the nation’s premier junior Speedway Sidecar riders, it took a brilliant performance from Pearce and Cox in the A Final to better the talented pairings of Victorians Ashley Duncan/Kaleb Kennedy and South Australians Jake Mitchell/Dakota Ballantyne.
